Inspired from “Berbere’ an Ethiopian red pepper spice paste, red wine is used, which adds depth and results in a full flavoured, divine and mouth-watering condiment. Use as a dip or marinade. Enrich a sauce or gravy. Ingredients: Onions, sunflower oil, vegan red wine (contains sulphites) paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic, chilli, ginger, coriander, fenugreek seeds, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper & sea salt.
The original “Baobab Chilli Jam” and winner of the Devon Life Food & Drink Awards – Best Food Product. Baobab chilli jam is explosively spicy and a firm favourite. Perfect with cheese, mixed in pasta. Use as a dip or a marinade. Delicious in a stir fry and as a relish. Ingredients – Water, fair-trade sugar (unrefined) (33%), baobab fruit powder (12%), onions, sunflower oil, garlic, ginger, fresh scotch bonnets, dried chillies (2%), balsamic vinegar, bay leaf, vegan vegetable bouillon (contains celery & soya) herbs & spices.
“Chakalaka Sauce” This amazing and versatile sauce has a lovely depth and intense rich flavour. Use as a Braii (BBQ) relish, perfect as a pizza and pasta base or to enrich a stew or use it in its traditional way by adding it to a can of baked beans. Ingredients: Onions, Sunflower Oil, Tomatoes, Carrots, Sugar, Garlic, Ginger, Chillies, Balsamic Vinegar, Vegan Worcester Sauce (Soya), Vegetable Stock (Celery), Curry Powder, Salt, Black Pepper, Lemon, Herbs & Spices.
